I called ij, he was in the kitchen, preparing dinner.

me: kia paka rahay hain?
ij: prawns with something new, guess the combination
me: (pause) aaloo?
ij: correct!

me: you aren't wearing the jacket
ij: jacket ki omer guzar gaey
me: hmm :)

me: nahi
ij: doodh?
me: doodh ki umer guzar ga'ey.

marriage

j: tumhari love marriage thi?
me: nahi yar, anti-love marriage thi :D

me: hello
a: Kia chal raha hay?
me: Chai Chal Lee Hay

'a' ended the conversation.
Perhaps he got annoyed over it. Or may be
he wasn't interested in asking anything else.

Flat Hunt

I was searching for a flat for hiring on short term basis, an ad on a website caught my attention, its header was a one liner, ''A roof with four walls''. Isn't it a smart description?

(in)sane decision

I went to a store close to my hostel to buy milk, there a Pakistani guy (we already know each other) spent around fifteen minutes to sketch a grim picture of current situation of Pakistan to convince me that going back after graduation would be an insane decision. I didn't want to tell him that the decision of not going back would be insaner and more disastrous!
